Tiny Sci-fi Vehicles

Some small vehicles for really tiny aliens. A spaceship, a hovering train, and a little round truck on tracks with a beam used for levitating objects.

Overview
I designed and created three tiny alien vehicles as 3D assets for use in a VFX film project. The focus was on detailed modeling and texturing suitable for integration into a film.

Role and Contributions
I managed the entire project, from the initial concept and design through to the final render and compositing.

Breakdown
The vehicles were created using custom model sheets that I first sketched out. To ensure smooth animation, I optimised the geometry and streamlined the shader node tree by baking down to smaller PBR images. Texturing was done using a combination of procedural nodes and fabric images sourced from Unsplash.
